Snakesn’Ladders
This game is one of my first coding experiences (that was showable as a project), as it was part of my school programme. Basically we had to take a board game and transform it into a digital version - I chose Snakes and Ladders. It was kind of fun to code, as it was a real project with a visual outcome. But it also showed how hard it is to code a game without a proper engine as you are responsible for managing everything in your own implementation. So yeah, I wouldn’t recommend doing this in Java to anyone - it was the language I learned first, that’s why I did it.
